Dr. James F Love III

Dr James Love has strong ties to the community and town of McConnells. His family has been living in York County since revolutionary times. His only time away from the area was to attend Clemson University for his B.S. degree and to attend Tuskeegee University for his D.V.M. degree. Whenever he has the chance to discuss Clemson sports, he will gladly take the time to try to convert you if you are not already a fan! He is known for his "laid back" attitude and always has a joke on the tip of his tongue. He, and most of his immediate family, live within a few miles from the clinic and are frequently "stopping by" to chat with clients and friends. If you are not already a friend of his, you will soon become one.

Dr. Karen Stallings

Dr Karen Stallings was born in Sumter the daughter of an Air Force Cheif Master Sergeant and moved to York in 2000. Karen graduated from Auburn University (WAR EAGLE!) with her B.S. and D.V.M. degrees. She is an avid sports fan (Auburn, UNC Tarheels, Atlanta Braves, Boston red Sox, and Carolina Panthers) and loves to play golf. Karen ahs 4 dogs (Mulligan, Buddy, Dixie, and Dana) and 3 cats (Cagney, Lacey, and Copper). She is currently working part-time between both clinics while taking care of her father Tom who has Alzheimer's disease. If you ever need someone to play golf with, she is always available for a tee time!

Dr. Adam McGarity

Dr. Adam McGarity is the newest addition to the Palmetto Vet team. He was born in Charlotte, N.C. and knew at an early age that he wanted to become a veterinarian. He gained valuable hands-on experience by working at various veterinary hospitals throughout high school and college. After graduating Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Animal Science, he went on to graduate from Auburn University, College of Veterinary Medicine with his D.V.M. degree. He embraces all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially equine medicine. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda, cooking, reading and hiking. He and Amanda share their home with 3 dogs - Roxy, Diesel and Tylan. He is a very talented veterinarian, and we are very lucky to have him on our team.
