Dr. Macie Mattmiller is originally from Lexington, Ky. She received her undergraduate degree in 2015 from the University Kentucky and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2023 from Auburn University. She has interests in small animal medicine/surgery and large animal medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their 4 dogs and 3 cats, hiking, lounging at the beach, and traveling.

Dr Stewart joined the team in 4/2019. He graduated from Clemson University with his B.S. Degree and Georgia University with his DVM Degree.

Brenton is another local, having grown up in Lake Wylie.  Just like Dr. Love, Brenton also attended Clemson University and received his B.S. in Animal Science before getting his D.V.M. from theUniversity of Georgia.  Don't let the black and red ties fool you, Brenton swears that he bleeds orange and purple!  His hobbies include traveling, the beach, riding horses, skiing, riding motorcycles, and exercising.  Dr. Gwinn recently got a blue heeler/border collie puppy named Deuce.  So if you see him while visiting the office, be sure to say hello (belly rubs appreciated).

Dr James Love has strong ties to the community and town of McConnells. His family has been living in York County since revolutionary times. His only time away from the area was to attend Clemson University for his B.S. degree and to attend Tuskeegee University for his D.V.M. degree. Whenever he has the chance to discuss Clemson sports, he will gladly take the time to try to convert you if you are not already a fan! He is known for his 'laid back' attitude and always has a joke on the tip of his tongue. He, and most of his immediate family, live within a few miles from the clinic and are frequently 'stopping by' to chat with clients and friends. If you are not already a friend of his, you will soon become one.

Dr. Beau Holley and his family recently moved to York, South Carolina from Bowling Green, Ohio. A2007 graduate from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks !!), he has over 16 years of veterinary experience. Dr. Beau is looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Over his career he has prioritized patient care and wellness with effective communication and treatment plans tailored to you and your pets specific needs and goals.You can find him, his wife Aimee, and 4 kids on Lake Wylie enjoying all the Lake has to offer. The family enjoys boating, water sports of all kinds, fishing, and swimming.Dr. Beau would love to meet you and your family (2, 3, and 4 legged) and hear all about this beautiful area he now calls home! – but he does ask - please no stories about ice and snow!

Dr. Paulz is originally from Roebuck, South Carolina. She received her B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University in 2015 and D.V.M. from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Her interests include surgery, nutrition, and farm animals! She has experience with birds, reptiles, guinea pigs, rabbits, and other small critters too! She is Fear-Free certified and committed to providing a comfortable experience for you and your pets. Dr. Paulz lives with her husband, son, three dogs and three cats in York, South Carolina. In her free time, she loves listening to music, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
